Founded in 1842, Roanoke College is a nationally ranked residential liberal arts college affiliated with the Lutheran Church (ELCA), located in the beautiful Roanoke Valley of Virginia. Our enrollment is around 1,800 undergraduate students. Our goal is to help our students Live on Purpose by making thoughtful choices about their paths in life. Roanoke College employs 550 faculty and staff members on a beautiful 90 acre campus. For those who occasionally crave a larger city, Charlotte and Raleigh, NC are 3 hours away, and Washington, DC is 4 hours away.
