Research Project Director - Pediatrics

Reporting directly to the Principal Investigator, the Research Project Director is responsible for the overall direction, supervision and implementation of all administrative, management and research activities of multiple field research sites & studies, including the "Implementation of an Early Childhood Transformation Accelerator and Impact Hub and the Early Development Instrument (EDI)" research project. The Research Project Director will provide expertise related to research discipline and formulate program strategies and goals. They will plan, direct and control program budget and other related resources. They will also assign work to and oversee the delegation of daily operational duties to Project Managers. The Research Project Director serves as the expert technical advisor to internal (junior faculty and graduate students) and external (community-based researchers, CBO leadership, and city/local municipality staff) on tools and approaches to achieve population level impact; multi-dimensional measurement strategies to measure impact; and ecosystems transformation activities to integrate disparate service systems to harness collective action to improve population-level developmental trajectories.

Salary Range: $83,800.00 - $179,400.00 Annually

Qualifications

All Required:

  • Advanced degree in
    related area and/or equivalent experience/training

  • Academic background and
    experience in selected area of research

  • Thorough knowledge of
    administrative, budgetary, human resources and financial principles and
    practices

  • Strong oral and written
    communication skills

  • Strong ability to think
    creatively and independently on concepts requiring advanced analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal
    skills and ability to work with diverse groups to achieve results

  • Strong ability to work
    collaboratively with internal and external peers and managers

  • Solid fundraising
    experience
