Material Handler I - (1st Shift 8:00 am to 4:30 pm)



  • Hourly rate $18.00
  • The flat rate for Material Handlers (Horn Lake, MS) is $18 / per hour to $18 / per hour


Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of office product solutions, has an opportunity available for a Material Handler I - 1st Shift to join our Distribution Center located in Horn Lake, MS facility.

Responsibilities:



  • Maintain and move materials within division, plant, or warehouse.
  • Load and safely unload freight.
  • Operative all material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, hand trucks, handheld scanners, and computer terminals.
  • Forklift operations duties.
  • May verify incoming material against accompanying documents to determine completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain inventory records in the computer system.
  • May assemble, pack or pick materials, and kit materials.
  • Perform counting actives for physical inventory, cycle count, shipping or receiving accuracy.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Includes riding a cart and electric pallet jack.
  • Move or remove materials to/from the appropriate storage area.
  • Maintain clean, neat and orderly work areas, adhere to all safety rules and follow all established security procedures
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:




  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent.



  • Experience in the material handling function.



  • Demonstrated ability to speak, read and write English.



  • Proven ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs.



  • Working knowledge of computerized warehouse systems.


  • Clamp experience is desired.

  • Must have at least 3-6 months forklift operations preferred.
