As part of our fast - paced operations team, you'll help ensure that we bring on new members comprehensively and accurately. As Enrollment Specialists you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and maintaining member or group enrollments. You will answer incoming phone calls from customers (members, providers, groups), provide expertise and support to customers, and practice superior customer service skills in all lines of communication. You may load member or group data into the enrollment database & update the database with changes. You will also responds to member eligibility or group questions and verifies enrollment status. You will be main point of contact for group customers in regard to enrollment related items. You will answer incoming phone calls from customers (members, providers, groups), provide expertise and support to customers, and practice superior customer service skills in all lines of communication. You may work with various types of member correspondence. You will also be responsible for reconciling eligibility discrepancies identified by error reports, analyzing transactional data, and submitting retroactive eligibility changes. This position is full-time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (7:00 PM CST if phone team). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer 5 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM CST (subject to change) from Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home. *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. Primary Responsibilities:

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington, or Rhode Island Residents Only: The hourly range for California / Colorado / Connecticut / Hawaii / Nevada / New York / New Jersey / Washington / Rhode Island residents is $16.54 - $32.55 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
