Position Overview

Are you a strong sales leader looking for your next role? Join our dynamic team at our Green Bay Shipping Container Division! As a Sales Manager, you will have to opportunity to help increase overall sales revenues and profits and manage and direct the sales staff. Support and promote the commercial strategies and initiatives working closely with the Director of Sales and VP-General Manager's organizational plans and work collaboratively with the Design and Customer Service Manager to drive customer satisfaction and profitable growth.



Responsibilities

Essential Functions

    Supervise, assist and travel with territory managers.
  • Assist and support V.P.-General Manager.
  • Work with territory managers and customer service to improve margins.
  • Establish/follow-through on goals and forecasts.
  • Establish pricing, support and implement price increases.
  • Facilitate sales meetings and customer functions.
  • Identify and train potential territory managers.
  • Plan and administer guidance to the Design Department Manager.
  • Evaluate the Design Departments performance.
  • Evaluate equipment and personnel needs in both Sales and Design departments. Evaluate department personnel in regard to merit raises, promotions and special recognitions.
  • Maintain direct sales responsibility for a few select strategic accounts.

  • Requires strong leadership abilities, motivation and coaching skills.
  • Must be well organized to stay on top of direct reports and their accounts.
    Strong knowledge of the corrugated or paper/converting markets is a must.
  • Must be able to stay focused on the department and divisions strategic plans and execute them.
  • Demonstrate a strategic thought process to ensure long term success.


Qualifications

Requirements and Skills

* Education: BS degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related fields.
* Experience: 7-10 years minimum experience managing a sales staff within the paper, converting or corrugated packaging industries.
* Strong Microsoft Suites skills
* Travel: 50-75% - day travel occasional overnight (within the Eastern third of Wisconsin)
