Position Summary |
The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for providing project management for the Georgia team of the
EPA Region 4 Environmental Justice Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Center (Region 4
TCTAC) housed at
RTI International, with
UGA as the sub-awardee.
The PM will be responsible for outreach to community members and groups in need of technical assistance across the state; coordinating meetings between multiple parties across the state; facilitating training in various locations and remotely; organizing and participating in community activities across the state; compiling, responding and reporting on inquiries regarding technical support; and assisting in the preparation of educational, training and outreach materials.
This position is currently funded for 3 years.
Continuation of this grant-funded position is expressly contingent upon continuation of funding. |

- Project management and/or program coordination experience in a community environment.
- Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with university personnel, state and federal agencies, and private organizations.
- Lead and work as a team member with all project partners and staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong customer service orientation and commitment.
- Exhibit a high level of initiative.
- Work independently and with multiple partners and stakeholders in a deadline-oriented environment.

- Engage with subject matter experts that will provide input for trainings and direct assistance to community groups
