We are actively seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and experienced leader to join our team as the IT Operations Architect - Network. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Position Summary:

The Information Technology Operations Architect-Network is responsible for the design (blueprint), creation and deployment of Amida Care's networking technology (end-to-end solution architecture). He/she/they provide(s) technical expertise in the use of technology and is accountable for the overall performance of the enterprise's solutions while ensuring these solutions work together properly (by application/ discipline). He/she/they implement(s) the transformation of business and technical requirements into overall technology solutions and works closely with all teams to implement robust, scalable solutions that interface across multiple platforms. He/she/they, is/are involved in selecting the appropriate WAN, LAN and VPN technologies to solve the problem. Once the solution is in place, he/she/they monitors and analyzes performance (usage), efficiency (metrics) and fit (achieved business needs) to fully exploit the solution asset. He/she/they also allocates resources to achieve optimum performance, including business continuity/ backup and recovery procedures f9rnenterprise's needs. He/she/they develop(s) a common set of standards, methods and procedures used for the network discipline and recommends enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and document WAN, LAN and VPN build processes including testing and quality assurance; research and design alternative solutions to improve network performance, usability and reliability.
  • Manage overall deployment methodology for WAN, LAN and VPN.
  • Lead in response of defining and analyzing networking issues escalated from help desk.
  • Analyze Problem Management and Root Cause Analysis reports and search for trends and solutions to prevent future problems; engages other teams to aggressively address significant problems.
  • Adhere to existing processes as documented and actively participate in the development of new processes that adhere to best practices methodology.
  • Evaluate and anticipate the impact of technical solutions environments; identify key performance indicators to quantify systems performance and deployment deliverables.
  • Identify and maintain a definitive network related software and firmware standards and software and firmware lifecycle.
  • Research and make recommendations on new technology products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.
  • Possess a strong understanding of coding concepts (PowerShell, SNMP, WMI and vbs).
  • Possess a strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, iSCSI, UDP), switching technology and ports.
  • Possess a strong understanding of integration design and reference architecture.
  • Possess a strong understanding of High Availability, DNS, DCHP, AV and firewalls.
  • Ensure that solutions meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements and identify and resolve issues (execution of a plan that turns an idea into a solution).

EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or, an equivalent combination of education and related work experience required.

EXPERIENCES AND/OR SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Four (4) years' work experience in Information Technology.
  • Cyber security experience preferred
  • Demonstrate design, development and implementation of highly complex solutions.
  • Demonstrate logical approach to problem solving and high-level analytical capabilities, programming and related technical skills showing ingenuity and creativity, including an attention to detail and an understanding of business process and constraints.
  • Work within a change management framework that incorporates distinct development, test and production environments, solution promotion and deployment processes, as well as, solution testing and defect management.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of application system infrastructure, technology and concepts in an enterprise IT environment, with the ability to grasp quickly new technologies, applications and concepts, and apply them as required.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment, meet deadlines, mentor, share knowledge and take on responsibility and accountability for assigned areas.
  • Demonstrate ability to organize ad structure a growing inventory of application assets, and be able to draw and maintain diagrams that can quickly convey the overall context of the environment/ solution.
  • Demonstrate experience in participating in multiple projects and ability to work with limited supervision, showing creativity, innovation, motivation, initiative and professionalism.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills; including, the ability to convey information to non-technical colleagues in a concise and clear way.
  • Demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to multi-cultural values, beliefs, and attitudes of both internal and external contacts.
  • Demonstrate appropriate behaviors in accordance with the organization's vision, mission, and values.
