What You Will Do as a Program Manager:

The primary responsibility of the Manager - Program is to manage their assigned uniform program contracts to ensure profitability, contract compliance, and to meet customer's requirements. Applies their expertise of Image Authority to develop growth strategies within existing contracts and to ensure contract renewal. Establish control-related standards and procedures.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Manages contract compliance. Ensures compliance in all areas of contract to prevent the incurrence of noncompliance penalties. This includes managing allowances as prescribed and timely reporting, completion of sales materials and annual closeouts.
  • Manages customer relations. Conducts meetings with customers to inform about our products and changes, to handle complaints and develop action plan to resolve, and improve overall customer satisfaction. This ensures contract continues and improves likelihood of a contract renewal.
  • Explores ways to improve profitability and increase sales. This is accomplished by adding new products, changing existing products to items that are currently produced or that have lower costs. This position increases sales by seeking increased employee allowances and additional departments not currently utilizing our uniform program
  • Manages inventory and accounts receivable. Forecasts accurately for optimum inventory management and to minimize exposure for sell off of discontinued items.
  • Also ensure invoices are correct and payment is timely to properly manage company assets and maximize sales opportunities. Works with merchandising/planning/ sourcing to develop products as required by the customer to properly manage inventory by minimizing both parties inventory exposure
  • Forecasts sales. Forecasts each lot number to be sold to customer on monthly basis to ensure planning has proper amount of inventory available for customer orders.
  • Responsible for achieving budgeted sales within assigned region or assigned account and achieve maximum sales volume consistent with sales projections
  • Typically accounts are at the division or national level and are moderately sophisticated in terms of category management
  • Manages internal communications. Provides information relating to contract changes/issues to various departments as needed to ensure contract compliance.

Skills for Success:

  • 3-5 Years of Related Professional Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in customer relations, sales, and management
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) required for interaction with internal/external customers
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects and setting priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong management skills
  • Excellent computer skills (Mainframe, Excel, Word)
  • Sales aptitude
  • Proven people skills
  • Travel Required
