Manager of Banking Operations & Reconciliation

General Summary:

The Manager of Banking Operations & Reconciliation reports to the Associate Controller Campus Banking and is an integral member of the Fiscal Operations team for the Boston Campus. The Manager of Banking Operation & Reconciliation is responsible for overseeing the reconciliation of all Boston Campus treasury and cash operation accounts. This position manages a team responsible for the daily oversight of campus deposits, receipt of student payments, and currency management for the Boston Campus. This position also assists the Associate Controller in managing the PCI-DSS environment, compliance, and payment environment.

Examples of Duties:



  • Reconciliation of Campus Fund Accounts including Imprest Check Account, Payroll/Travel Advance Account.
  • Reconcile Campus Bank Account including distribution of Campus Funds and Reclassifying Deposit Activity.
  • Reconcile Student Payment Accounts including the Student Enrollment Deposit Account, Bursar Clearing Account, etc.
  • Assist in Managing the Online Ecommerce Vendor System and PCI-DSS Environment.
  • Supervise a team of two professionals responsible for managing the banking and cashiering environment.
  • Assist in developing policies and procedures to support the operating environment.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to the banking and cash management environment.
  • Responsible for other duties assigned to support the daily operation by the Director of Campus Banking


Qualifications:

Bachelor's required, master's degree preferred in a STEM, business, accounting or economics field.

5-7 years' experience in higher education finance, corporate or municipal finance, treasury management, and/or accounting is required.

Fluency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), treasury management system and Oracle systems are required.
