We are currently seeking a Jr. Project Manager to join our team in Springfield, Illinois (US-IL), United States (US).

This is an early career position in our Government Consulting & Advisory (GCA) organization. You will work as part of a team providing client-facing project management services and completing projects for clients while delivering excellent business value. As a junior project manager, you will analyze applications and systems, then coordinate with project leadership to develop client-facing deliverables, document findings, and create/revise project management deliverables.This position will be supporting more experienced consultants in the planning and execution of work for our clients. Working under the direction of a more senior project manager, you will actively participate in the delivery of tasks/activities.

Position may be based in our project location in Springfield Illinois

Job Responsibilities Include:

Analyze and document business rules / functional requirements to support system enhancements.

Create and deliver correspondence, presentations, and other materials for project support.

Interact with clients as a key liaison between business and technology findings documentation.

Works with internal teams to understand customer requirements and to create compelling, compliant, and efficient deliverables.

Ability to elaborate on the details of a project and collaborate with team members, clients, and vendors.

Schedule meetings in MS Outlook / MS Teams, Webex, or some other virtual meeting. platform to encourage attendance of key stakeholders, monitor meeting acceptance, and follow up as needed.

Attend business/functional area meetings; serve as scribe for these meetings

Distribute meeting minutes for approval; store approved agendas, minutes, and other project-related documentation on SharePoint or MS Teams site, following account specific processes

Maintain project repository on SharePoint or similar platform

Participate in the development of deliverables and assist with deliverable coordination and management, review, and revise documentation, seek feedback

Complete all program training, including project manager specific training (demonstrate learning of the basics in Scope Management, Schedule Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, Human Resources (Team) Management, Stakeholder Management, Communication Management, Risk Management, and Supplier Management) and obtain certification determined in training plan in the initial six-months.

Other duties or initiatives as assigned by program or team leadership and team members.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Minimum 2 years of business or technology analysis experienceor working on projects that required problem-solving and analytical skills and ability to break down complex problems and develop solutions

Customer focus that results in delivering a high-quality service and high client satisfaction

Team player that knows how to influence and partner by building strong relationships with leaders, peers, and clients

Creative, analytical, and adept at learning to maximize advanced functions of software tools

Minimum 2 years of experience using tools in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio)

Ability to work 0800-1700 Central

Flexibility and willingness to travel, potentially 50%

Preferred Skills:

2+ years of experience working with a software development organization, State Health and Human Services (HHS) agency, or healthcare/insurance firm supporting enterprise-wide projects

Innovative thinking, resourcefulness, and agility by leveraging best practices and creativity to get things done

Thorough knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies, and objectives

Experience working in a team environment while making everyone accountable for their tasks as per the RACI

Must possess technical writing, decision making, and problem-solving skills.

Must possess strong command over English language.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $70,000 to $88,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
