The Opportunity: The Event Manager I position provides leadership, professional expertise, and direction in the planning and execution of high-quality events and functions hosted by the Division of Digital Learning/Center for Distributed Learning (DDL/CDL). Demonstrates a high level of creativity, resourcefulness, strategic planning, and dynamic decision-making with significant impact on university or functional unit/area. Facilitates the needs of clients, sponsors, and vendors as they relate to events. This is a visiting and renewable position. Visiting positions are based on circumstances, such as funding sources, which control the length of time for which the position is available. Position will be renewable up to a period of four years. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Preferred Qualifications:
