Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Leadership team to proactively identify opportunities for improvement in workflow efficiencies, financial opportunities, data management.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements to design and implement a robust and automated analytic solution to support business needs.
  • Ability to use appropriate skills in the areas of project coordination, multi-tasking, prioritization of demands, group discussion, data validation and presentation, training, facilitation, decision-making, communication, and time management.
  • Assess existing data availability, identify data gaps and limitations, and collaborate with leadership and to develop approaches in closing data gaps or misalignments.
  • Assign charge level and release charges for Main OR, GI, Anesthesia
  • Create and send monthly reports to surgical services leadership.
  • Monitors and identifies documentation gaps by working with employees and leaders to correct and establish accountability.
  • Complete all WorkQueues
  • Submits charge reconciliation attestation in a timely manner.
  • Utilize OneSource to enter IT tickets as needed.
  • Assist with Epic access needs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Two years' experience working in the surgical environment
  • Current knowledge of physician clinic or hospital operations
  • Strong problem solving, multitasking and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior supervisory experience in a hospital or physician clinic setting
  • Bachelor's degree
