This Opportunity:

By working with international
development partners, government ministries of health, the private sector, and
other key stakeholders, Palladium applies unique user-centered models and
approaches that improve health systems and supply chains; provide an evidence
base for health policy and program reform; and address governance and financing
challenges that create barriers to healthcare. Palladium's focus is on creating
self-reliant, sustainable health systems that are flexible and responsive to
emerging economic and health shocks such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Our
expertise cuts across a range of health areas, including family planning and
reproductive health; HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis, COVID-19, and other infectious
diseases; maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health; nutrition; water,
sanitation, and hygiene; and chronic diseases.

We are proactively building a talent pool for future Associate,
Project Delivery positions within our organization. The Associate, Project
Delivery serves as part of a team that is responsible for the management and
delivery of a specific activity, ranging from $10 million to upwards of $50 million
each. The Associate, Project Delivery position supports the management of
effective and efficient practices to deliver work in accordance with
contractual obligations, company policies, local country settings, and client
rules and regulations. The Associate, Project Delivery is a valued member of
the team completing a variety of tasks that are critical to high-quality
project management. This role works closely with Senior Associates, Project
Delivery; Managers, Project Delivery; and Technical Directors/Activity Lead.

Location and
Compensation:


The position is based in Palladium's
Washington DC / New York, NY / Chapel Hill, NC office.

Per company guidance, we are aiming to keep hiring closer to our
main U.S. offices. If we are unable to find successful candidates who are
willing to work from the D.C., NY, or NC office, then as a last resort we may
discuss the possibility of considering exceptional candidates to work
permanently remotely (from other U.S. states where Palladium is registered).

but not limited to your qualifications, relevant education/certification,
experience, skills, seniority, performance, and Palladium's business or
organizational needs.

Reporting and Supervision:

The role reports directly to the Manager, Project Delivery or Technical Director/Team Lead

  • Internally the role will be required to liaise closely with other staff of the project, including the project delivery team, corporate business services team, Process Excellence Hub, innovative finance/economic growth subject matter experts, and other units within the Americas Regional Business Partnership
  • Externally the role will liaise with clients, in-country Palladium staff and stakeholders, subcontractors, grantees, and suppliers
  • The role carries a degree of autonomy with appropriate consultation

Primary
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Documents deliverables, and maintains team calendar
  • Processes contract action requests (i.e., travel, personnel additions/changes, partner, grant, budget realignment, etc.)
  • Researches trends and identifies opportunities for improvement within their assigned team
  • Supports operational activities associated with projects, initiatives and/or proposals
  • Supports the maintenance of pending task lists and team trackers, schedules and creates agendas for, and takes notes at meetings
  • Supports contributes to, sector specific research, reports, forecast, budgets, workplans, proposals and other outputs intended for distribution to internal and external stakeholders
  • Processes invoices from consultants, subcontractors, and vendors for timely and accurate submission in accordance with internal requirements and Palladium procedures
  • Serves as a liaison between all internal stakeholders including but not limited to corporate services, portfolios, and business development teams
  • Performs other duties as required

  • Previous experience working in a professional work environment
  • Excellent
    written and oral communications skills. Demonstrated competence using
    Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Must be
    authorized to work in the United States. Palladium will not consider work
    visa sponsorship for this position

Professional
Expertise/Competencies Preferred:

  • Experience implementing USAID-funded programs
  • Professional working proficiency in another language, with priority given to Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Arabic
