SENIOR ANALYST, INTERNAL REPORTING (ZA1111) This is a Hybrid position. About The Position The Senior Analyst, Internal Reporting is part of a team that supports Ameren's senior leadership and other internal and external stakeholders in understanding and interpreting Ameren's results of operations. The Internal Reporting team is a trusted business adviser to executive leadership and provides monthly reporting needed to make informed decisions to operate the company. The position participates in a collaborative, cross-functional effort to analyze financial and statistical data to explain income statement variances by line item and the underlying business drivers. The position also performs controls and reconciliations that help ensure costs are accounted for correctly and appropriately recovered. The team is also responsible for preparing and reviewing related disclosures in the SEC filings for Ameren Corporation and its two registrant subsidiaries, as well as filings with other regulatory bodies, internal reporting work products, and presentations. In addition, the position plays a supporting role in cross-functional projects, and interfacing with senior leadership. Key responsibilities include:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably in Accounting or Finance. An advanced degree and/or certification (e.g. MBA, CPA, CFA, PE) is preferred. Three or more years of financial analysis, accounting, or other professional level relevant experience required. Prior experience in financial analysis preferred.
