Description

Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the candidate needs to have Management skills and be capable of Directing all of the Principal Investigator's lab operations keeping the lab moving as a well-oiled machine. The candidate will work with the research team on multiple research projects. The candidate must have experience in muscle biology and stem cell biology, with proven history of Managing and Directing personnel and meeting project timelines. The candidate should have significant project management experience, be self-motivated, show initiative and be able to work independently on projects directing and managing lab personnel reporting directly or indirectly to the candidate.Strong organizational skills, attentiveness to details, multi-tasking, strong communication skills and troubleshooting abilities are a must. The candidate should be able to work on a multidisciplinary team and direct research operation efforts.

*This is a limited position that may convert to career.

Salary Range: $55600.00 - $110600.00 Annually

Qualifications

Required:

Directing and Managing lab operations (~11 lab members).

At least 10 year's experience working in a wet lab environment.

Project management skills of variety of lab projects.

Operating standard biological laboratory equipment.

Advanced experience in the stem cell biology.

Advanced experience in muscle biology.

Advance experience in testing drugs for in vitro, cell culture and various biochemical assays.

Experience managing and directing laboratory personnel.

Advanced skills in reports generation and data presentation.

Ability to prepare computerized figures for graphic representation of data obtained in experiments.

Computer skills for papers, reports, presentation, website etc.

Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.

Skills in regulatory document processing.

Experience in co-authoring and writing of articles submitted to scientific journals and assist in submission of grants.

Ability to present data orally and visually .

Experienced managing a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred:

Master's degree in biological sciences.
