Under the direction of the Warden, the Staff Services Manager I (Specialist), is responsible for providing guidance and expertise to management and supervisors in areas involving staff misconduct allegations, employee performance and administration of the department's disciplinary process. Appointments may be subject to Hiring Freeze exemption, clearance of the State Restriction of Appointment, Reemployment list and Departmental Restriction of Appointment list. Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s). Working Conditions The California State Prison - Los Angeles County (LAC) is located in Lancaster, CA (Antelope Valley) - home to our State's Poppy Flower.
