We focus on serving clients in the municipal, water, transportation, and education markets. The Construction Management Internship is a temporary position with an emphasis of on-the-job training. This internship will be for a fixed period of time and requires current enrollment in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Construction Management, Engineering or related field. The ideal candidate is a third or fourth-year student, with strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities and Duties Assist the Project Team for successful execution of construction projects Attend Weekly Construction Meetings for assigned projects Assist Project Team in taking Meeting Minutes for assigned projects Assist Project Team with reviewing and tracking project Submittals, RFI's and change order requests Assist with writing daily field reports and taking construction progress photographs Assist with tracking of project schedule Assist with reviewing and scheduling special inspection requests Ability to travel to Gonzales, CA to the construction job site Qualifications and Skills Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program inConstruction Management, Civil Engineering or related field Must be a team-player with a positive attitude Great verbal and written communication skills Strong Computer Skills such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Bluebeam, Procore and Microsoft Project knowledge are a plus Previous engineering and/or construction management internships are a plus Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher Compensation & Benefits The hourly rate offered for this position $20hr-$25hr.
