PMO102 Assistant Travel Coordinator
ADNET Systems Inc is looking for an Assistant Travel Coordinator to support the Travel Coordinator on our SESDA V contract, in support of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, Maryland. The position is located at our Goddard Corporate Office in Lanham, MD. This will be a Part-time position (2-3 days per week).
Duties and responsibilities include:


  • Assist with domestic and foreign travel arrangements and claims. Ensure that travel arrangements and claims meet Federal Travel Regulations and the organization's travel policy.
  • Assist the Travel Coordinator with Travel Forms (Travel Authorization Forms), budget tracking, required expense forms and receipt collection.
  • Ensures that travel needs are met within the constraints of the travel budget.
  • Assist with compiling, tracking and submitting required forms and documentation for travel approval and submitting of expenses for reimbursement.
  • Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of travel requests and expense reports.
  • Responsible for tracking, copying and scanning of Travel Forms and expense reports.
  • Database entry of Travel Forms, Travel logistics and costs. Providing status updates to the Travel Coordinator.


Required Qualifications:


  • HS graduate and 5-7 years of office experience.
  • 2-3 years of travel related work experience.
  • Needs to be located within an hour of Lanham, MD to work on-site.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and de-conflict complex travel plans without impact to management and the traveler.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, submit and track travel requests, and track other traveler information as required.
  • Advanced writing, grammatical and communication skills.
  • Experience and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience in a technical setting.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.


Desired Qualifications:


  • NASA/Goddard Travel experience a plus.
