Featured Job Clinical Nurse Supervisor - Department of General and Internal Medicine Division Of General Medicine Full Time 77333BR Job Summary Manages the delivery of primary care nursing services and patient flow for all clinical sites of the Department of General and Internal Medicine. Provides and organizes clinical support for faculty, residents and nurse practitioners. Works as part of the leadership team to identify opportunities for improved practice operations. Works with all staff to develop, monitor and maintain systems pertaining to all aspects of nursing care. Maintains operations and facilities in a state of continuous readiness for regulatory inspections. Manages the call center team, also known as the One Touch Team (OTT) to provide quality and efficient patient care through robust training, staff observations, and performance monitoring through call metric data. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role. For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range. To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: Department Description The Department of General internal Medicine (DGIM) provides patients with primary care services and delivers care to approximately 28,000 patients. Our health care professionals coordinate overall care as well as treat specific conditions. They are experts in preventive medicine, health monitoring, testing and special treatment programs such as weight management and diabetes follow up, and make referrals to specialists when needed. DGIM has three floors over two buildings on the Mount Zion campus. It delivers primary care to patients as part of a larger UCSF primary care service line. Required Qualifications
