The Women's Health Initiative (WHI) is a major, long-term research program designed to address cardiovascular disease, cancer and osteoporosis - the most frequent causes of death, disability and poor quality of life in postmenopausal women. It is one of the largest U.S. prevention studies of its kind and it is currently in its third extension. The WHI Clinical Coordinating Center (CCC) is located at Fred Hutch. In addition to the WHI CCC, NIH has recently launched a program for a new coordinating center and Fred Hutch has been chosen to coordinate this national effort. The objective is to provide scientific, statistical, and cultural expertise and coordination support to establish a population-based cohort focusing on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders (AsA-NHPI), studying health conditions and disease burden that are unique and common for this population. The Women's Health Initiative is is seeking an experienced full-time Administrative Coordinator I. The Administrative Coordinator I is responsible for providing administrative support of the WHI and AsA-NHPI Ancillary study Committees (ASC). The incumbent works in a team under minimal supervision and is expected to use initiative and sound judgment in carrying out complex duties within the framework of the WHI-CCC and AsA-NHPI policies and procedures, and as directed by the WHI and AsA-NHPI Committee Chairs. Responsibilities
Oversee Committee Support including preparation and maintenance of documentation for study committees.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $28.34 to $40.35 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
