Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer in the Department of Medicine, Business Operations Manager is responsible for the daily operations for the central Finance Office in the Department of Medicine. The Department of Medicine has 11 subdivisions, more than 300 employees and more than $52 million in expenditures annually. The Business Operations Manager plays a key role in the Department Senior Management team, which includes the Department Chair, CAO, CFO and MSO's across the divisions and works directly with the CAO and CFO to develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient and effective business operations across a large department. The incumbent develops and recommends changes to departmental policies, procedures and guidelines for processing of financial transactions.

The Full Salary Range for the salary grade this position is assigned to is $73,900.00 - $133,700.00 (Annual Salary).
