ES220 Software Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled software developer to support the next generation processing system to be used for data processing for the Atmosphere Observing System (AOS) project. The candidate will provide software engineering to support the development of Adaptive Processing System (APS) by utilizing third party open-source software where possible or development of components where needed.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in RESTful programming using Python and Flask for development of the services and infrastructure to support the next generation of science processing, as well as proven track record of providing RESTful solutions and be experienced with Docker/Containers, Kubernetes and AWS. This role requires a deep understanding of web technologies, server-side cloud development, and a passion for creating scalable and efficient systems. This will be a hybrid position, requiring in-person work on-site a few days of the week.
