We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to serve as the main point of contact for operations and logistics for the entire Student Transitions and Family Engagement Portfolio (ST+FE). Specifically, this position coordinates and manages all program logistics including but not limited to meeting space/classroom scheduling, arranging AV equipment and support, parking/transportation, catering/dining, event registration, event signage, equipment rental, vendor contracts, expense tracking, etc. This position will be the primary logistical liaison for all events within the ST+FE portfolio including Move In, Pre-Orientation, New Student Orientation (NSO), Family onboarding, and Family weekend as well as for smaller signature programming. The Logistics Coordinator will also coordinate the help of all staff, volunteers, and vendors to optimize event impact and success. The Logistics Coordinator reports to the Executive Director for Student Transitions and Family Engagement but supports and works with all staff within the portfolio. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing. Blood tests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except for those employees who provide results of blood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers.
