Production Packer Job Summary

This labor-intensive position is responsible for ensuring producing a quality foil bag, labeling and boxing of bags. Palletizing / shrink wrapping of completed boxes. Must be able to lift 50Lbs. Requires strict attention with respect to order accuracy. Potential of becoming a Line Operator.

THE SHIFTS WE HAVE AVAILABLE ARE AS FOLLOWS:

12 HOUR (AM) 7AM-7PM *Rotating Weekends/6 Hours on Wednesday*
12 HOUR (PM-Overnight) 7PM-7AM*Rotating Weekends/6 Hours on Wednesday*

Production Packer Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Organization, Dealing with Complexity, Time Management, Process Improvement, Safety Management.
• Understanding and following work instructions.

Leadership:

• Communicates and ensures all safety procedures are strictly adhered to.

Production Packer Required Education, Experience and Qualifications

• Familiarity with Manufacturing or Quality environment preferred
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Must be flexible with work scheduling as well as overtime
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to understand detailed written and/or oral instructions including basic mathematical skills
