The Accounting Analyst will assist with various accounting functions for the CNHi Capital North American accounting team. This will include supporting projects to develop operational improvements both internally as well as with third party vendors/agencies and supervise accounting staff and assist with their development and growth.

The ideal candidate will ensure individual assigned accounts are accurately reconciled on a monthly basis, including preparation and review processes in accordance with SOX guidelines, work with IT, FP&A, Operations, Capital Treasury, Corporate Treasury and other accounting groups to resolve accounting issues relating to the finance business within North America.

Position will be located in Racine, WI and is eligible for our hybrid work environment working three (3) days onsite and two (2) days remote/home office.



Responsibilities

    Supports primary accounting for the CNHi Capital North America ledger in both US GAAP and IFRS
  • Prepare/Review monthly and year-end account reconciliations in accordance with the global account reconciliation policy
  • Verifies inter-company and intra-company charges are accurately accounted for in the ledger
  • Perform, analyze, evaluate and interpret accounting and financial information to identify problems and alternate courses of action as they relate to the supported products, entities and/or reconciliations
  • Work with Treasury and other financial groups within the company to ensure accurate routing of funds among departments within CNHi
  • Prepare work papers and documentation to support analysis of specific situations. Including work papers for external auditors relative to the 20-F, CNHi Capital LLC audits and CNHi Capital Canada LTD audits
  • Investigate problems of a complex nature in area of responsibility and be able to present proposed solutions in a clear, concise manner
  • Work to streamline and improve accounting processes, as business needs change within the department/organization
  • Interact with other departments on data gathering and problem solving to issue reports that can be used by management in the decision making process
  • Support other CNHi Capital Accounting/Capital Finance teams as needed
  • Analyze, evaluate, develop and recommend new methods that strengthen internal controls, propose changes for improvement to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting data (i.e, ensuring appropriate accounting guidance is being followed) and management reporting
  • Utilize various CNHi systems to perform operational tasks and gather financial data
  • Coordinate ongoing projects

The annual salary for this role is $55,500 - $81,400 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)



Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A minimum of 3 years of accounting, finance, or other business reporting experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
  • Solid understanding of SAP and SAP business warehouse
  • Solid understanding of HFM and retrieves
  • Cognos/Impromptu knowledge
