Overview
The Naveh lab is an interdisciplinary lab focused on studying the 3D structure and function of the periodontal ligament and extracellular matrix. In the lab we are combining different modalities of imaging, 3D image analysis, mechanical testing and tissue composition analysis. These modalities include microCT, AFM, Light sheet, multiphoton microscopy, proteomics and Raman spectroscopy. Our approach is focused on understanding the micro and mesoscale to achieve macroscale functional manipulations that can be translated to the clinical setting. What You'll Do Under supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Research Technician will conduct a variety of routine experiments by following established procedures and protocols including: mice breeding and genotyping, performing assays, tissue sectioning and staining, electrophoresis and other laboratory techniques. The tools and methods that are routinely employed in the lab include western blotting, PCR, transgenic animal models, animal surgery and experimental pathology, immunohistochemistry, 3D imaging with microCT and fluorescence microscopy imaging. Essential Functions: * Conducts experiments following appropriate protocols and procedures to achieve results What We're Looking For Basic Requirements:
