Job Summary:

Belden, a global leader in industrial networking and automation solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven OEM Solutions Sales Manager to join our team. As an OEM Solutions Sales Manager at Belden, you will play a critical role indeveloping and managing key accounts within the industrial automation sector, with a focus on Automated Material Handling (AMH) OEMs and industrial machine builders. Your primary objective will be to build strong relationships, understand customer needs,and deliver tailored networking solutions that drive business growth in both the AMH and industrial machine building industries. Responsibilities:




  • Develop and nurture relationships with key AMH OEMs and industrial machine building customers to deeply understand their networking and automation requirements
  • Collaborate with technical experts to provide customized networking solutions that address the unique challenges faced in these industries
  • Manage own activity for performance, using standard work tools and process including Sales Force, Account Plans, Funnel Management, and Quarterly Action Plans
  • Drive revenue growth through direct customer engagement by identifying opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and expanding Belden's footprint within both the AMH and machine builder industries
  • Effectively oversee the sales funnel, ensuring opportunities are qualified, advanced, and closed in a timely manner, while providing accurate data-driven sales forecasts
  • Identify sufficient opportunities, build and execute the selling strategy, move customers through the buying journey, forecast wins and hit target through professional funnel management
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers in these industries, advocating for their needs within Belden and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors within the AMH and industrial machine building sectors to provide strategic guidance and anticipate customer needs
  • Ability to translate the requirements of AMH OEMs and industrial machine builders to an application expert tohelp define a complete solution


Required Skills and Experience




  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the industrial automation industry
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • A genuine passion for understanding and meeting the specific needs of these customers
  • A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and objectives within these specialized sectors
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with technical experts and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving andgrowing industry
