Position Summary:Fiduciary Trust is hiring a Senior Relationship Manager / Team Leader to join our New York relationship management team. In this role, you will have two primary functions and serve in a player/coach capacity. In the client-facing "player" capacity, you will co-manage a significant book of client business, characterized as the firm's most complex relationships (largest AUM, multi-generational). You will serve as one of the clients' main points of contact and have responsibility to ensure client satisfaction. In addition, you will be responsible for leadership of a Fiduciary Trust New York market team and therefore must have prior leadership and supervisory experience. In this management "coaching" capacity, you have responsibility for overseeing the team as a direct manager on handling day-to-day client service challenges, escalating issues to appropriate individuals, managing compliance and regulatory issues, maximizing client satisfaction, and encouraging the expansion of client relationships. The Team Leader is responsible for developing and maintaining a strong culture amongst team members, creating consistency across the team in how they support and work together. In addition, the Team Leader is responsible for promoting a sales culture and will be responsible for contributing and leading the team to grow the team's revenue and AUM. Finally, the Team Leader will have full accountability for team performance, including talent development, responsibilities for coaching team members to excel in their respective rolesand will be responsible for giving performance appraisals, feedback and salary recommendations. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation.
