Summary Quarry Hill - Midcoast Maine's premier extended care community for adults 55+, Quarry Hill provides unsurpassed independent, assisted-living, short- and long-term nursing care and specialized memory-loss care is seeking a per diem Mainetenance Staff member to join their team! Position Summary This position is per diem with variable hours. Ensures a safe and secure environment for the residents, staff, visitors and property of CHCC/Anderson Inn in compliance with all Federal and State regulations; responsible for inspecting and reporting equipment failure, security breaks and environmental problems; performs preventive maintenance, minor repairs, housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: High School diploma or GED is strongly preferred and/or vocational/technical education. License/Certifications: Must have a Maine Driver's License with no moving violations during the past three (3) years, be insurable and pass a background and security check. Experience: Must have worked in a maintenance position with mechanical, electrical, construction, and/or plumbing duties. Must become familiar with the safe operations of power and hand tools necessary in performing daily tasks, and ask for any additional training necessary. Must be able to communicate effectively with other Staff, Residents, and Visitors.
