FOCUS Services Coordinator - Camp Lejeune

Description FOCUS (Families OverComing Under Stress) provides resiliency training to military families. You will provide administrative support to the local Family Resiliency Training programming including:
* Assisting with service delivery activities, receptionist services, including answering phones
* Assisting with family intakes
* Managing faxes, copying/filing
* Managing supplies and equipment inventory
* Maintaining office and personnel calendars
* Assisting with family and provider inquiries regarding accessing care and other FOCUS activities
* Coordinating site-specific activities with the UCLA FOCUS team
* Providing support for the delivery of direct family-care services and group skill-building sessions (providing refreshments, maintaining waiting room, assisting with scheduling, etc.)
* Assisting with data-entry related to outreach contacts, provider referrals, and family records
* Maintenance of the web-based files to compile reports and outcome information.
Please note:
* This is a part-time contract position with our Camp Lejeune location and may convert to career
* This project is funded by the United States Department of Defense- Office of the Secretary of Defense. By contract, this position is limited to U.S. citizens
Salary range: $22.03/hr - $43.68/hr

Education:
Degree in social sciences, business, or general degree
Experience:
Prior experience in a support service role working with children, teens, and adults
Experience and/or knowledge working with military populations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel, and willingness to learn new computer-based systems for worksite management.
Skills and Abilities:
Skilled in keeping accurate and timely records.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills - both by telephone and in-person.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals of various social, cultural, and educational backgrounds to obtain and convey information clearly, accurately, and courteously.
Ability to work effectively and closely with other members of the service team and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to attend to detail to recognize errors or discrepancies while multi-tasking.
Skill in maintaining a courteous and calm demeanor and professional appearance in a changing environment with frequent interruptions and distractions.
Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information in a discreet and professional manner.
Ability to coordinate and maintain complex schedule, meeting calendars, email, and mail.
Ability to move supplies and office equipment as needed.
Ability to work flexible hours.
