JOB DUTIES:

Engineer, Applications Development (.NET) for GXO Logistics Corporate Services, Inc., at its facilities in High Point, NC. Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the applications using Microsoft .NET framework along with other necessary combinations of technologies. Identify functional, non-functional, system, database, integration, performance, and web-services based requirements, including debugging and troubleshooting existing program code and/or providing support to resolve systems related issues, which can include periodic 24x7 on-call support as required by the team's scheduled rotation. Identify crucial system parameters to evaluate the effects of new requirements and create multiple design approaches for implementation and provide estimations. Design, develop, and maintain Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Design, develop, and test RESTful APIs. Act as part of a cross-functional team in an agile development environment. Research and recommend relevant technologies toward overall technical strategy. Provide guidance on technical tasks and priorities, and give technical assistance when needed. Mentor developers and help resolve technical roadblocks, conduct collaborative code reviews, and coordinate the deployment and implementation of software solutions. Available for software releases to production in a controlled, methodical manner, including verification that systems are stable after patch application. Provide technical assistance to the business and technical teams to understand problems with software and develop specifications to resolve them; test scenarios on integration, validation and IT verification testing; prepare functional specification documents and technical specification documents; design, develop, test, and debug new software or significant enhancements to existing software for third party customers.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other closely related technical degree.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience must include three (3) years of post-bachelor's progressive experience in the following:
• Web service and web user interface software system development of a large-scale, distributed, reliable production system;
• C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, PL/SQL, MS Powershell, HTML, CSS, Angular/Js, React.js;
• Windows Operating System, .NET Framework 4.0+, .NET Core5/6;
