Come join our Venice Family Clinic team as a Grants Manager, Government and Foundation. This is a hybrid position that allows for remote work but does require the individual to come into the office at least 2-days per week. This important role reports to the Director of Institutional Giving and is responsible for leading the efforts to secure and steward all government grants (city, county, state, federal) for Venice Family Clinic's operations, capital, and endowment needs. The Grants Manager:
* Ensures the writing and timely submission of high-quality, compelling letters of inquiry, proposals and grant reports to new and existing government funders, leading the efforts to identify new opportunities for expansion of the government funding portfolio.
* Works as part of a grants team that annually raises $3 million in private funding and over $9 million in public funding for Venice Family Clinic.
* Works closely with fundraising, communications, program, and finance staff, as well as private funders and government contacts.
* Aligns with the Director of Community Outreach and Advocacy, particularly in tracking and analyzing policy and regulatory changes that may impact the Clinic's funding.
* Participates in meetings/projects and completes other tasks as assigned by management.

Salary Range: $64,800.00 - $137,600.00 Annual
Qualifications Required:
* Bachelor's degree
* At least three (3) years of experience in grant writing, preferably in health or human services.
* Outstanding writing, analytical and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate about complex health care and policy issues for medically underserved communities.
* Demonstrate a genuine interest in and knowledge about providing quality health care to medically underserved communities.
* Proficiency in basic computer software, applications and functionality including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and Internet.
* Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy and organizational abilities.
* Ability to prioritize and work independently to meet deadlines.
* Ability and willingness to work overtime if needed.
