About the College/Unit/Department
The School of Social Work provides professional education to over 600 students through its CSWE- accredited B.S.W. and M.S.W. programs, Ph.D. program, as well as the Master of Arts in Nonprofit Leadership and Management program. The School of Social Work also offers joint M.S.W. degree programs with the School of Law, the College of Public Health, and the Emory University Candler School of Theology. Position Summary
The Data Analyst will work within the Center on Human Trafficking & Outreach (CenHTRO) and report to the CenHTRO Director to provide statistical support to research on human trafficking prevalence estimation, correlates of human trafficking, and solutions to human trafficking. The Data Analyst will assist in the development of scalable quantitative methodologies to examine the problem of human trafficking. This incumbent will also work collaboratively across the project team, located in multiple countries including the USA, UK, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Zambia, and Malawi; to develop and utilize scalable and robust quantitative research methods. The CenHTRO Director may delegate reporting duties of this position to other staff or faculty within CenHTRO.

Conduct data analytic activities leveraging statistical models, machine learning models, simulation, optimization, and other techniques to deliver insights into the research findings.

Work with project team in efforts to develop scalable and robust quantitative research methods. Work with large data sets. Design, implement, and interpret the results of new experiments and studies. Refine existing data sources where needed.
