Nursing Supervisor- Skilled Nursing

*Up to $20,000 sign on bonus*

The Supervisor works with and coordinates the training of other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain educational requirements and professional standards. Is responsible for the ongoing assessment of Quality Assurance (QA)/Infection Control (IC) activities for the long-term care center, including such activities as developing measures for assuring quality resident care and resident classification systems.Work is of a highly confidential nature. Performs other duties of the department as required.

RNs assume overall responsibility for nursing staff on a specific shift in order to ensure quality nursing care for the residents.

LPNs assume overall responsibility for nursing staff on a specific unit in order to ensure quality nursing care for the residents.

Required Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Required License/Certifications

• Current/active North Carolina or compact RN license (supervise facility)

(or) LPN License (supervises unit)

• BLS
