Optum is looking for a Hospitalist to join our team. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient's needs.

Position Details:

• Position will be based at Los Alamitos Medical Center
• Block Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off; 7:00 AM - 7 :00 PM plus two night shifts per month
• Admissions and rounding on assigned patients
• Average Patient Census: 12 -15 patients

Qualifications:

• Unrestricted California State Medical License
• Current California DEA certificate
• BC in Internal Medicine

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• EMR proficient
