Job Overview:

Within the Network Data & Systems team, this position is responsible for the Network's business ownership of systems used to support the Network Dept's daily functions as well as to support our Dealer network. The systems are including but not limited to Netstar dealer portal, AuditServ, and Grey market system. The Network Systems Specialist will work closely with our IT partners, internal business units throughout MBUSA, and external partners. This position is responsible for the ongoing needs to maintain each system as well as all projects and enhancements from the business perspective. As the business owner, this position will drive transformation in Netstar that results in business efficiencies, value, and lowers risk.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day and ongoing priorities and business requirements for Netstar and other relevant systems.

- Enlist and foster a comprehensive and highly collaborative working relationship between the business and Network teams and the IT partners to understand the needs, priorities, and strategies needed to deliver the best systems to all users

- Develop and manage process around prioritization of change requests.

- Collaborate with IT project manager as the business owner/project manager of the Netstar B2B project and any future projects.

- Communicate and align with all business units to ensure participation in Netstar B2B and all future projects.

- Meet regularly with internal stakeholders, IT partners, 3rd party partners, and dealer partners and manage priorities, timelines, milestones, and implementation of B2B project and future projects.

- Identify issues and risks in both ongoing system activities as well as all projects

- Ensure that Netstar payments are billed accurately.

- Prepare, document, and execute external access control activities for Netstar and other relevant systems.

- Serve as the gatekeeper for dealer communication and portal changes of the Netstar system.

- Serve as the first point of contact for IT, dealer partners, and internal users of Netstar and other relevant systems for outages, issues, and needed changes.

- Attend and participate all relevant business and project meetings to ensure that all business needs are being met

- Implement continuous improvements in the risk assessment process and measurement methodology to assure compliance of project deliverables with legal obligations and quality standards defined in corporate obligations

Qualifications

Qualifications/ Education:

- Business General: Knowledge of fundamental business practices and concepts that impact the success and profitability of the organization

- Ability to assess the criticality of a problem and initiate corrective action in a timely manner

- Experience in traditional Project Management and Agile Methodologies

- Exceptionally good communication and collaboration skills; and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders. Proven ability to tailor communication content to the needs of the audience

- Must be able to think and act independently, except where specifically designated otherwise with regards to the terms of the assignment.

- Strong planning and organizational skills - able to breakdown complexity into digestible and communicable parts

- Strong network within MBUSA beneficial -business & IT

- Independent working attitude; well-organized with attention to detail

- Have a relentless will to improve and be proactive

- Able to lead, moderate and motivate colleagues

- Excellent relationship building/partnering skills Demonstrate strong negotiation skills.

Degree in General Business/Business Management/Project Management /Computer/Information Science/Finance required
