Medical Writer DynaMed is a leading online evidence-based point-of-care medical reference. It is a rapidly growing, comprehensive clinical decision resource that provides the most current and useful synthesized evidence and recommendations with the quickest time-to-answer.Medical Writers drive the creation of DynaMed content as part of a highly skilled team of methodological and clinical experts whose mission is to provide comprehensive evidence-based guidance and information at the point of care. Medical Writers apply critical appraisal skills to determine the validity of medical research findings and organize that evidence in a concise manner to facilitate shortest time-to-answer for our clinical users. As a global product with a commitment to health equity, Medical Writers at DynaMed have the opportunity to help disseminate evidence-based research that impacts diverse populations worldwide. We are seekingapplicants with a background or interest in any of the following: biomedical research, biostatistics, epidemiology, or public health. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, writing experience, and an advanced degree in a relevant field. The current work model for our Editorial Team is a remote/hybrid mix, where employees may choose to work fully remote or come to our office in Ipswich, MA up to three days a week. During the onboarding process, you will receive training in the writing style and critical appraisal concepts needed to successfully summarize evidence for a variety of study types and create content within the DynaMed framework. As part of our Editorial Team, you will strive for continuous improvements in knowledge and critical thinking and display a pattern of continual learning and a desire to broaden your writing and medical knowledge. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Advanced degree preferred) >2 years writing experience related to medical or scientific content (or 1 year writing experience plus advanced degree in a related field; or 5 years clinical experience) Preferred Qualifications: Technical capacity to learn new systems to edit and manage content COVID VACCINATION REQUIREMENT: As directed by Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, all current and newly-hired EIS employees in the United States are required to be fully vaccinated by January 18, 2022 or by their date of hire. |
