Job Description

Visa operates the world's largest retail electronic payments network and is one of the most recognized global financial services brands. Visa facilitates global commerce through the transfer of value and information among financial institutions, merchants, consumers, businesses and government entities.

We offer a range of branded payment product platforms, which our financial institution clients use to develop and offer credit, charge, deferred debit, prepaid and cash access programs to cardholders. Visa's card platforms provide consumers, businesses, merchants and government entities with a secure, convenient and reliable way to pay and be paid in 170 countries and territories.

The Corporate Information Technology, Corporate Business Systems Organization, enables Visa's revenue growth through flexible pricing engines and global revenue platforms built on next-generation technologies. They also support and enhance the Financial applications such as ERP, Ariba, Concur and tax solutions. This includes managing system requirements, evaluating products and solutions, design, development, integration, quality assurance, implementation and maintenance of corporate revenue applications. The team works closely with business owners of these services to deliver customer developed solutions, as well as implement industry leading packaged software.

Candidates should be passionate, self-driven and resourceful, creative problem solvers with can-do attitude, have exceptional organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills, be an analytical and structured thinker as well as with significant experience in customer/partner interaction, management and software solution delivery. The position will be based in Visa's Austin office.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the intake process to evaluate incoming project requests for the applications you support by performing requirement elaboration, estimation and technical assessment
  • Maintain a product backlog, facilitate backlog grooming and drive prioritization
  • Understand User Experience, design thinking and its importance to product features
  • Deeply understand the needs of data for business system applications(ERP Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivables etc) and ability to perform data extraction, analysis and modelling
  • Work with finance stakeholders and architects to define products scope and prioritization and be flexible to iterate/change per latest developments to meet deadlines
  • Break down product requirementsinto clear, thorough, and detailed user stories for complex features and product sets.
  • Be the primary liaison betweenother business units, BU product managers, engineering and other applicable groups to ensure flawless integration of new and existingfeature sets.
  • Evaluate new product opportunities, bring forward POC/proposals and influence to expand our product features and solution footprint
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand ups, product demos, test phases, retrospectives to ensure on time high quality delivery
  • Work very closely withdevelopment and QA organization to ensure technical specifications and final product meet business requirements.
  • Derive insights from data and help drive decision making
  • Maintain release plans and publish release notes to stakeholders
  • Provide oversight to develop user guides, user training materials
  • Provide product demos, user training and support for adoption of features and applications

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of work experience and a Bachelor's Degree or 6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters)
  • Strong product management and business transformation experience
  • 7-10 years of business analysis experiences and deep functional knowledge with including many of these apps: Oracle technologies (such as E-Business Suite Financials R12 or Fusion), ORMB, Ariba, Concur, SQL, Unix, Java
  • Experience with multiple ERP systems such as EBS/Oracle Fusion Cloud/SAP/MS Dynamics etc
  • Strong knowledge of agile development practices (especially Scrum and / or Kanban), methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Six Sigma certification is desired
  • Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills with the ability to work independently in a global environment and drive consensus in cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated, results driven, with the ability to quickly establish clear, well thought out action plans and drive deliverables to completion under tight deadlines
  • Fast learner on both technical side and business side
  • More than comfortable in an ambiguous matrixed organization
  • Strategic thinker who can balance big picture strategy with detailed, flawless execution

Physical Requirements:

  • This position will be performed in an office setting. Work Hours:

  • This position requires the incumbent to be available during core business hours. The candidate will be part of a global team and work with members located in Austin, Bangalore, Singapore

Travel Requirements:

  • This position will require up to 10% travel
