Save Job Job Saved Perform a variety of operations to assemble and test valves within a work cell of a value stream according to product specifications and quality standards. Achieves production goals to deliver on time, high-quality products to customer. - Assemble valves with instruction and supervision in a work cell within the business unit. - Meet productivity targets for assigned cells. - Follow guidelines to assure proper set up for assembly and the actual assembly of product. - Inspect and test each product produced to assure it meets quality standards. - Pack product for shipping. - Apply standard operating procedures to complete work assignments thoroughly and accurately; identify and correct errors and pay attention to details. - Work with the cell team to meet or exceed production standards; complete work in a timely manner; plan and prioritize work. - Follow safety and 5S guidelines; maintain a clean and organized work area and use good safety judgement. - Understand ISO procedures and know where appropriate documentation is kept. - Share input in team improvement board and High Performance Team meetings. - Perform other duties as assigned. - High School diploma or equivalent required - 0 - 3 months experience in manufacturing environment, assembly preferred - Basic computer skills - Able to follow written/verbal instructions and directions in English ** SIGN ON BONUS - EXCELLENT BENEFITS OFFERED, INCLUDING PROFIT SHARING** Founded in 1917, Parker Hannifin Corporation is a $13.7 billion, global company.
