Job Summary: An Associate Account Executive is tasked with supporting the Broker Desk Team while building broker selling skills with a select group of brokers where they have primary responsibility. The Associate AE is expected to work on tasks or structured processes that benefit the overall Broker Desk Team. Tasks will include collecting, researching, and verifying customer account information to accurately price power, natural gas, and Demand Response proposals, render and proof contracts, proposal delivery to brokers, proposal follow-up and tracking, asking for the sale, obtaining feedback on proposals, ensuring proper contract execution, and assisting with broker or customer service requests as needed. They will closely with Account Executive, Sales Managers and other sales and origination teams, to build relationships with brokers and consulting channels externally. The role will requires developing an understand of various broker business models, basic understand of the complete NRG Product Suite, strategies for uncovering broker needs, strategies for developing trust to with brokers, developing sales analytical skill, and building strong relationships with our customers/brokers. The primary objectives for this role are to support the broker desk, develop a track record of closing business with select with brokers, make sales calls, and learn to articulate the full value of NRG products and services. It is expected a successful Associate AE will be promoted to Account Executives within 6-18 months Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
