Marketing Activation Manager - RCCB

Position Summary:

The Marketing Activation Manger will lead strategic marketplace activation of the company's brands across prioritized consumer destinations throughout a designated region/geography (West or Midwest), including key boost zones and venues. This position will focus on collaborating to execute local activation that impacts per-capita and share growth, ultimately maximizing our full marketplace potential.The Marketing Activation Manager executes marketing strategies at the local level, in alignment with the broader business strategy and performance targets.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Utilize knowledge of partnership marketing principles and proven execution track-records to establish best-in-class processes

  • Execute strategic pillar event and market activation roadmap, identifying key initiatives that will support commercial channel, brand and shopper plans and further reach and engage consumers in designated region/geography (West or Midwest)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external brand partners to execute, in alignment with targeted objectives

  • Implement programs and initiatives that are grounded in deep consumer, product and marketplace understanding in order to help build consumer demand and market share in responsible region/geography

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights for brand activation and go to market strategy implementation of beverage products

  • Build strong commercial strategy plans

  • Create and facilitate presentations for a variety of audiences

  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Marketing related field and 6 plus years' experience in sales/account management, commercial strategy, or marketing, in the consumer goods/beverages industry OR High School Diploma/GED and 9 plus years of experience sales/account management, commercial strategy, or marketing, in the consumer goods/beverages industry .

  • Experience building and monitoring execution action plans

  • Experience managing multiple local activation programs

  • Knowledge of brand strategy (brand acumen, positioning and occasions) and application across channels, including local marketing

  • Proven track record of achieving sustainable results

  • Execution bias for action

  • Effectively communicates and builds relationships at all levels of an organization

  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to adjust style based on audience size/composition

  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills

  • Organization and planning skills,

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Experience calling on customers i.e., Retail, Food Service/On Premise

  • Travel up to 30%

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Brand and channel management experience

  • Shopper insights, category management or shopper marketing experience

  • Knowledge of key consumption occasions, shopper messaging, and methods of activation and ability to localize for customers
