KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in Customer & Operations Financial Services Payments Solutions for our practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in large-scale banking initiatives focused on delivering strategic, operational, technical, and/or product development changes associated with new business and technology strategies
  • Support delivery of payments related business models and end-to-end process re-design; assessing the current state across business and IT, identifying key pain points, developing recommendations aligned to industry leading benchmarks, defining a target state operating model, and developing high level conceptual and detailed design
  • Develop and build project knowledge across areas including scope definition, business case development, financial analysis and modelling, requirements gathering, functional and technical design, vendor assessment, testing, training, and implementation phases
  • Assist in the development and presentation of client deliverables, reports, and findings in a clear, logical, and concise manner
  • Develop relationships with client personnel, serve as a liaison between clients and upper management, and help identify opportunities to provide additional services

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of consulting experience at a recognized firm and/or retail/commercial deposits institution
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Previous payments business experience and knowledge of retail and/or commercial payments including card services, merchant processing, eCommerce, clearing and settlement, and fraud
  • Strong understanding of project management and implementation/development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Travel as needed
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
