Manager, Internal Communications- Global

KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Global Communications to join our Global Corporate Affairs group which is a part of KPMG International.

Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of the communications strategy for the global KGSG Audit, Global Audit Methodology and Global Audit Quality groups to drive team cohesion, knowledge sharing, and messaging alignment around the Global Audit mission
  • Manage the drafting, review, and distribution of technical communications, including product updates, release communications, support updates and bi-weekly technical newsletter; work with subject matter experts to clarify complex technical concepts and craft clear, actionable messages
  • Assist in the preparation of executive talking points, presentation content, organization, and content for team events; manage Portal content; help to develop scripts and approaches for videos and thought leadership activities
  • Serve as primary message distribution lead on critical communications which will sometimes require work in non-standard business hours
  • Contribute to the development of creative new approaches and communications to reach and affect audiences spanning multiple geographies and cultures
  • Help ensure that all communications meet the highest quality standards, comply with KPMG branding and style guides and manage risk requirements for all communications; collaborate and liaise with wider internal communications group, and other members of the Global Audit communications team to ensure alignment of KGSG Audit to the broader global communications strategy

Qualifications:

  • Minimum four years of experience in communications preferably in professional services or a B2B environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and /or university preferably in Communications or equivalent work experience
  • Experience developing compelling value propositions for services/campaigns
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with an ability to grasp business objectives and translate into actionable technical and functional requirements
  • Comfort with wide variety of cultural differences and skill sets and ability to work a flexible schedule to interact with colleagues in other time zones around the world.
  • Ability to influence, act professionally, calmly and persuasively when dealing with key internal stakeholders
