KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our practice. **REMOTE is also an option, any US location**

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate and partnership tax services including compliance, planning and research
  • Prepare corporate, partnership and other tax returns
  • Participate with accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations
  • Coordinate tax research and planning
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of recent public accounting and/or corporate tax experience plus bilingual Japanese/English
  • Bachelor 's degree, J.D., LLM in taxation, and/or Masters in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university
  • Experience with ASC 740 preferred
  • Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters in various industries
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Strong presentation skills
