Manager, Sales Process & Technology

The Sales Process & Technology Manager is a position that will work with key stakeholders to document processes, identify best practices, and implement innovative solutions to support our Residential Telesales, Small Business, and Security By Reliant channels. This role will participate in cross collaboration projects targeted to reduce costs, improve customer experience, and increase sales.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Document and evaluate business processes; identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement through redesign, workflow, automation, and elimination of non-value-added work.
  • Use root cause analysis to identify innovative solutions to exceptions, errors, and process gaps.
  • Manage project implementation including documenting business requirements, technical specification design, coordination with various teams for approval & execution, quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing, end to end testing, and product launch.
  • Provide day-to-day analytical and technical support across Residential Telesales, Small Business, and Security By Reliant channels.
  • Manage the launching of new sales partners, technology and products from initial request through user testing and training.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on process, systems and platforms used by sales channels
  • Develop team members through identifying areas of opportunity, creating training plans/goals, and managing performance outcomes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
  • Open office environment, currently 1-2 days per week
  • Some overtime required as special projects arise.
  • Travel - 10%

Minimum Requirements:

  • College degree in business, economics, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to interview other subject matter experts, technical teams, and end users to understand process / system, asking questions and challenge status quo
  • Detail oriented with ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Visio
  • Experience working on technology integration projects
  • SQL query writing proficiency
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications, and presentation skills.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Word
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and with teams.
  • Experience working with or within a Retail Electricity Provider
  • Process improvement skills such as Lean / Six Sigma
  • Experience with SAP
