Senior Associate, State and Local Government

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in Customer & Operations for our practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project plan development, performance reporting and tracking, and communication
  • Direct client communication, including status reporting, risk reporting and mitigation, scheduling, and staffing and conduct business analysis, asses processes and procedures, evaluate system-based and manual controls,
  • Facilitate outcomes-based team meetings and workshops to achieve team and client goals
  • Evaluate risks related to requirements management, business process definition, testing processes, internal controls, project communications, training, and organizational change management
  • Coordinate team action items and tasks to maintain on-time project schedule
  • Establish standards by which deliverables will be developed, understand the process used to create the deliverables, and develop deliverables against established standards

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of recent experience as a project manager within state and local government context; health and human services experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university preferably in public policy, or business, or management information systems
  • Demonstrated experience with project management, business analysis, technology and/or policy transformations
  • Experience with state and local government agencies, including health and human services preferred
  • Knowledge of standard project management methodologies; Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master beneficial
  • Ability to work onsite at client premises approximately eighty percent of the time
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
