What you'll be doing...

The Fleet PMO team within the GN&T organization works to provide safe, reliable equipment in a cost-efficient manner to enable the business. PMO works to ensure the successful integration of processes and systems while launching new/enhanced products, systems, processes,and strategic transformational initiatives. You'll be leading projects that will drive THE best experience for Fleet and its business partners, every time. You'll bring together cross-functional teams to work together and develop and implement launch readiness programs that drive vehicle safety, the optimization of capital assets, cost efficiency, electrification of the Fleet, and an exceptional user/employee experience.

  • Proactively manage the utilization and vehicle sharing programs to monitor and optimize the usage of the portfolio and integrate data/analytics into business needs, capital buy plans, real estate footprint consolidation, vendor performance management, tier 2 trouble ticket product support, etc.
  • Manage various strategic initiatives such as enhancing use cases and user experience of the SSMR application, Vehicle bar code scanning, vehicle utilization, dashboard reporting, analytics enhancements, etc.
  • Engage with stakeholders to analyze strategy and business processes related to existing or proposed systems to identify enhancements.
  • Gather business requirements, translate them to technical requirements, and architect solutions.
  • Build strong and lasting communication relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Utilize agile methodology to manage sprints and projects for all active system initiatives including the development and maintenance of project schedules, dashboards, and calendars as needed.
  • Create and present executive reporting packages to key stakeholders.
  • Drive strategic implementation to enhance efficiency, process, and performance improvement and build foundations for trusted partnerships.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and forge cross-functional partnerships.
  • Create detailed plans and communicate business updates to the working team, stakeholders, and senior leaders.
  • Monitor project progress; anticipate and reduce risk. Influence teams to meet delivery milestones.
  • Using strong project and organizational knowledge, leadership, and active facilitation to enable effective team meetings and high-performance teams.
  • Communicating effectively with team members, senior leaders, and the broader organization.
  • Keeping senior management and key stakeholders informed of project status and escalating issues when they impact timeline, scope, quality, or budget.
  • Contributes to the functional excellence of project management by participation in the development and continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and tools related to program and portfolio management practices.

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • Agile, DMAIC, or Project Management certification (GB, BB, PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, etc.).
  • Practical knowledge of Project Portfolio Management tools or experience with Smartsheets.
  • Working knowledge of Google suite, excel, and process mapping software such as iGrafx or Visio.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, complex projects, and large cross-functional teams to deliver quality results.
  • Experience of building high-performance and trusted professional credibility.
  • Experience navigating difficult conversations and effectively resolving conflict within a team.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and experience delivering to senior leadership.
  • Ability to distill large amounts of data into meaningful, actionable summaries for executive presentations.
  • Ability to quickly resolve complex problems and think creatively to identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action to keep program schedules on track.
  • Strong proficiency with Google's G-Suite.
