Your impact as a Data Scientist: Job Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership in a team that generates business insights, identify impactful recommendations, and communicate the findings to clients Brainstorm innovative ways to use our unique data to answer business problems Build and maintain data pipeline architecture required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from multiple sources including our clients, our partners, and Aon's own market-leading human capital databases Design, build and implement high quality BI & analytics deliverables that utilize the data pipeline and our data analytical models (including statistical and machine-learning models) Collaborate with IT and product development teams to implement, test and deploy analytics tools and applications Create advanced statistical and machine-learning models to provide specific recommendations to business leaders Communicate complex quantitative analyses and product prototypes in a clear, precise, and actionable manner Leverage data visualization to convey insights in a compelling way Work in a team, take initiative, and share your knowledge with others Required skills and experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field Four years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree or at least two years of experience with an advanced degree Experience with data warehousing and ETL development on cloud-based platforms such as Snowflake or Azure Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI Proficiency with SQL Proficiency with Python or R Experience with multivariate linear regression models and hypothesis testing Preferred skills and experience: Experience with AWS or Cloudera tool suites Experience with Trifacta, StreamSets, and/or Alteryx Experience with collaborative development environment like GitHub A passion for data visualization Experience with advanced econometrics and machine learning methods for social sciences Knowledge of any of the following: natural language processing (NLP), organizational network analysis (ONA), or psychometrics We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. The salary range for this position is $105,000.00 to $135,000.00 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans. The amount of the incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
