Job Overview

Provide support for all operational tasks within the Customer Services Vice President area, including budget support and analysis, reporting support and analysis, and administrative support.

Responsibilities

- Prepares reports for budgets, business plans and related planning activities by collecting, compiling and ensuring accuracy of data within the specific timeframe required. Provide budget recommendations and highlight any deviations of budget spending. Ensure budget is transparent to Vice President throughout the year.

- Support compilation of regular business reporting, with focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines. Support the creation, analysis and distribution of regular daily and monthly reports. Complete data analysis and identify actions resulting from the analysis. Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying and transmitting text, data and graphics.

- Provide efficiency by reading, researching, and routing correspondence, drafting letters and documents, collecting and analyzing information and initiating telecommunications. Will be required to compose, sign, and release routine correspondence.

- Coordinate all customer services culture/engagement activities including off sites and Customer Services Week. Support Customer Services "Electrify Your Experience" strategy.

- Coordinates travel arrangement and itineraries for Vice President and visitors. Ensures that department related task are coordinated by serving as a point person, information source and/or project administrator. Complete Vice President expense reports in a timely manner.

- Provide operational support to MBUSA Executive Management, often involving issues of sensitive and confidential nature at the corporate level. Also provides support to global business colleagues and visitors as needed.

- Schedule/ Coordinate Meetings: schedule appointments and manage calendar for Vice President. Distribute meeting announcements, agendas, minutes, and materials as needs. Schedule rooms, AV, and catering arrangements.

- Analyze operating practices and implement changes as needed. Create and maintain office procedures for record keeping systems, form control, office layout, budget, and personnel requirements. Order and maintain office supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance

Qualifications

Qualifications/ Education

- Associate Degree (accredited school) or equivalent work experience with emphasis in Associate's Degree.

Must have 3-5 years total of experience in the following:

Administration -> Comprehensive Knowledge of administrative procedures, process/project development, and system procedures.

Vendor Management -.> General knowledge of Agency/Vendor management and budget management.

Additional Information

Broad Knowledge of Daimler Global Organization and culture is preferred. Requires a significant amount of tact and integrity due to frequency of high level internal and external contacts; Requires a thorough mastery of communication skills and training in word processing, presentation packages, spreadsheet presentation and administration/office procedures; Strong organizational skills; German language skills is desirable, but not required.
