Salary Range: $5,102 - $6,691 Monthly

This is a flexible/hybrid telework position. Travel to a DOC facility or office may be required.

The Department of Corrections is seeking a dedicated public servant to take on the role of Management Analyst 4 (MA4) in the Business Diversity Program. The goal of the MA4 will be to create and implement processes and procedures that will enable the creation of the overall Business Diversity reporting and measurement system. You will ensure the DOC is meeting the overall Business Diversity goals and objectives by providing recommendations for process improvement.

The ideal candidate has a knack for formulating processes, procedures, and systems as you will be responsible for the development of reporting plans and processes that ensure compliance with the Governors Executive Order 22-01, Office of Minority and Women's Businesses Enterprises (OMWBE), DES Purchasing Policy, and DOC Policy and Procedures. Another key trait of the candidate of choice will be collaboration and the ability to work with various levels of management.

The MA4 will need to forecast and anticipate customer needs and be able to offer solutions quickly. Organization and task prioritization are necessary for this role as you will primarily work independently. Duties

As a Management Analyst 4 (MA4), some of your duties will include:

  • Development and Implementation of DOC Business Diversity reporting system to include:
    1. Development, implementation and management of a comprehensive reporting system that enables management to make informed decisions concerning tactical and strategic processes for the Business Diversity Program
    2. Developing processes to coordinate data capture and mining from a variety of systems into a comprehensive reporting system
    3. Performing standard and improvised data analytics that ensures accuracy and assists in identifying problems and evaluating operational deficiencies
  • Implement and manage Tools, Equity and Public Spending program processes to include:
    1. Development of internal technical and standard processes and measurements that exercise the facets of Tools of Equity and Public Spending
    2. Developing communication processes and procedures with OMWBE and Veterans owned businesses
    3. Leads or participates on DOC internal Business Diversity teams
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What we need (required qualifications):

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or another allied field
  • Two years of relevant experience

Telework Details
This position may be allocated for telework. Work may be performed from your home or another offsite location within the state of Washington using a reliable internet or cellular hotspot service at that time. Employees are expected to perform assigned duties in a safe manner, to take proper care all state-issued equipment, and maintain confidentiality of all information in possession while working offsite. Employees will be required to commute to a Department of Corrections facility or field office as business requires, to potentially include components of the onboarding process. Some offices will have a "drop in" area available, however, a dedicated workspace within a DOC facility will not be provided.
